In 2008 Acadian Media began launching a series of Web sites that will ultimately form a small constellation of portals designed specifically for most aspects of the information technology industry. For example, the sites will target various niches in the information technology field such as employment, technical blogs, IT law and policies, as well as sales and marketing, to name a few.

• IT Specialist.com
  Launched July 2008
  IT Specialist.com Web site is a comprehensive online directory and search engine that aggregates technical news, articles, blogs, podcasts and on-demand content into a cohesive and highly organized online portal or so-called "mashup". The site also includes original content (e.g technical reviews, news, blogs, etc.) and user generated content in the form of technical discussions, ratings and comments. Launched June 2008.
• IT Specialist.info
  Launched December 2008
  IT Specialist.info is our complimentary Career Center for IT Professionals. Similar to IT Specialist.com, but different in purpose, this site aggregates jobs from a multitude of leading jobs site on the Web. It also has a social networking component or branded IT Specialist Profilesm area where members can create a media rich profile including a resume, mini-blog, video and image galleries. Members can also communicate privately with each other on the site or with technical recruiters. This is a sem-public Web site requiring registration and approval. Launched December 2008.
• IT Law and Politics.com
  To be Launched in 2009
  IT Law and Politics.com is a Web site dedicated to the discussion of controversial topics regarding information technology law and policy. The site aggregates news, feature articles and blogs from a multitude of legal and government Web sites. The site will be adversarial in nature allowing users to easily choose sides and discuss controversial IT issues of the day in an anonymous manner.
